UML men's basketball team lands R.I. scorer (Lowell Sun)

Ken Barer had seen what the Garrick family had to offer. Evidently, he liked what he saw. The UMass Lowell men's basketball coach remembers back in the late 1980s when his George Washington University hoop team kept running into a University of Rhode Island club. The Rams were good, really good.
